FIBER PRODUCTS

SME LIFTING Srl supplies particularly flexible fiber products for lifting loads with particular shapes or geometric characteristics (for which the use of steel accessories is not recommended) and for harnesses.

The products shown in this catalog are made with high quality materials and are accompanied by any certificates and guarantees provided by Directive 2006/42 / EC (in Italy D. Lgs 17/2010).

The categories of products hereafter described include:

• Slings in textile fibres
• Textile fiber anchoring systems

Textile fiber slings are divided into:

• Flat slings, with woven tape width ranging from 25 mm to 450 mm, available in:
  1. simple layer with slots
  2. Double layer with slots
  3. Ring tubular
• Tubular slings

Safety in lifting operations depends on a large number of factors, including the skill of the operators, the adequacy, conditions, care and consideration of all the equipment involved in the lifting.

Reference standards:

• Directive 2006/42 / EC (in Italian Legislative Decree No. 17/2010).
• Harmonized standard relating to fiber webbing slings EN 1492-1: 2009 and tubular webbing EN 1492-2: 2009.
• Harmonized standard for anchoring systems load road vehicles of chemical fiber EN12195-2.

Webbing slings in fiber textiles feature a colour label firmly sewn to the sling itself. The colours of the labels distinguish the material of the sling:

• Blue label = polyester (PES)
• Green label = polyamide (PA)
• Brown label = polypropylene (PP)

The marking of the anchors of the load must be carried out on each fabric strap complete (each separable part) through coloured label as with slings. The hooks terminals, tensioners, the devices for tension maintenance and indicators of tension LC≥ 5kN must be marked with the name or symbol of the manufacturer or supplier..
